Chinese authorities have asked the biggest state-owned firms and banks to conduct thorough checks on their financial exposure and other links to billionaire Jack Ma's Ant Group and report the findings, reported Bloomberg. This is reportedly the most thorough and wide-ranging scrutiny into Ant's deals. In 2020, China suspended Ant's $35-billion IPO that was set to be the world's largest.
