China asks CCP members, military veterans to help Foxconn amid labour issue

The Chinese government has asked the Communist Party members, civil servants and military veterans to help out iPhone-maker Foxconn amid a labour shortage at its factory in Zhengzhou, the NYT reported citing county notices and state media reports. Local government authorities are also recruiting workers from villages and transporting them directly to the Foxconn plant after quarantining them.
