China backs WHO after Trump announces US' withdrawal

China has reaffirmed its support for World Health Organization (WHO) following US President Donald Trump's announcement that US would withdraw from the body. "[Will] contribute to building a shared community of health for humanity," China said. Trump, who signed an executive order on the issue, had accused WHO of being influenced by China and criticised its response to COVID-19 pandemic.
