China building its largest military base in disputed South China Sea: Report

China added new installations on Yagong Island in disputed South China Sea where it plans to build its largest military base, Reuters reported citing satellite imagery. The construction could be start of an early warning radar facility which would support more installations, the report added. China earlier proposed to turn disputed islands in the South China Sea into robotic fortresses.
