China calls Russia 'true friend' on 3rd anniversary of Ukraine war

During a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, Chinese President Xi Jinping called the two countries "true friends" who "support each other". The two leaders held the phone call on the third anniversary of Russia-Ukraine war. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, China and Russia have strengthened their military and trade ties.
