China could stall America's entire AI push by cutting off rare-earth minerals, educator Amit Kilhor claimed. On the podcast, he said China holds a near-monopoly on rare earths and most of the processing machinery, leaving US chipmakers dependent. That leverage, he argued, is exactly why Donald Trump travelled to Beijing, to secure supply, not fight over it.
