China claims Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin as its part in new map

China has released the 2023 edition of its "standard map" and claimed Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as its own territories. The map also included Taiwan and the disputed South China Sea regions. "India cannot afford to remain a mute spectator to such Chinese activities," Major General Ashok Kumar, VSM (Retd) told Financial Express.
