China clones 'Sherlock Holmes' police dog to cut training times

Scientists in China have cloned a dog dubbed "Sherlock Holmes of police dogs", China Daily reported. Named Kunxun, now three months old, the clone is undergoing training in drug detection, crowd control and will become a police dog when aged 10 months. Training usually takes about five years and costs ₹50 lakh with no guarantee of success, the report mentioned.
