China denies report claiming Xi told Trump that Putin might regret Ukraine invasion

China denied a Financial Times report claiming President Xi Jinping had told his US counterpart Donald Trump that Russia's Vladimir Putin might regret invasion of Ukraine, calling it "completely false" and "fabricated out of thin air". The report had cited officials familiar with the recent talks between Trump and Xi in China. Putin is set to visit China this week.
