China deploys humanoid robots as cops at marathon, video viral

China deployed humanoid robots to assist traffic police during the Hangzhou Marathon on November 1. Named Hangxing No. 2, the robots patrolled four locations near Huanglong Sports Center, monitored intersections, guided crowds, warned against traffic violations and answered public queries. Developed by DEEP Robotics with local traffic authorities, robots helped officers manage crowds during event.
