China fines Alibaba, Tencent for violating anti-monopoly rules

China imposed fines on Alibaba and Tencent along with other firms for failing to comply with anti-monopoly rules on disclosure of transactions. China's State Administration for Market Regulation released a list of 28 deals that violated the rules, out of which five involved Alibaba and 12 involved Tencent. The maximum potential fine in each case stands at $74,688, Reuters reported.
