China gets Asia's largest underground station

Asia's largest underground railway station, Futian Station, opened in China's Shenzhen city on Wednesday. Covering an area of 147,000 square metres, the three-storey high-speed station can accommodate up to 3,000 passengers at a time. It will reduce the time taken to travel between Guangzhou and Hong Kong to 30 minutes which currently takes two hours by an ordinary train.
