China occupied 45000 sq km of Indian territory in 1962: Cong ally NCP

Congress ally in Maharashtra NCP president Sharad Pawar has said the matter of tensions between India and China at Ladakh border shouldn't be politicised. "We can't forget what had happened in 1962 when China occupied 45,000 square kilometres of India's territory," he stated. This comes after Congress asked PM Narendra Modi to clarify whether China has intruded into Indian territory.
