China opens glass-bottomed suspension bridge

A glass-bottomed suspension bridge was opened in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in China this week. The bridge called ‘Haohan Qiao’, literally meaning ‘Brave men’s bridge’, is 180 metre high and 300 metre long. China is also planning to open the world’s longest (430 metre) and highest (300 metre) bridge with a glass walkway, later this year.
