China orders factories to close amid worst heatwave in 6 decades

Authorities in several Chinese cities have ordered factories to temporarily close as the nation faces its worst heatwave in 60 years. Sichuan, a key manufacturing location for semiconductor industries, has ordered all factories to shut down for six days to ease the power shortage. Power cuts in Sichuan will reportedly hit factories belonging to some of the biggest electronic companies.
