China plans world's most powerful collider

According to the state-run China Daily report, the country plans to build the world's most powerful particle collider with a proposed energy of 100 Terra Electron Volts. The project aims to better study the Higgs boson or the "God particle". The project will be called Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) and is expected to be built between 2020 and 2025.
