China police use 'smart helmets' to detect coronavirus patients: Report

Chinese police officers have started wearing 'smart helmets' which can detect pedestrians' temperatures as they patrol streets, to control coronavirus outbreak, according to a report. The helmet has an infrared camera which sounds an alarm if a person has fever, one of the symptoms of coronavirus. A viral video showed officers checking if people's body temperatures were above 37.3 °C.
