China on Friday lodged a strong protest against PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh, where he visited a border region claimed by both countries. "The act of the Indian side is not conducive to properly resolving and controlling disputes between the two sides… ," a statement on the Chinese Foreign Ministry's website said.
