China rejects US claims that Kimi K3-maker stole Anthropic's technology

China has rejected US allegations that Moonshot AI stole Anthropic's technology to develop its Kimi K3, calling the claims baseless and politically motivated. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said China's AI advances are driven by independent innovation, not intellectual property theft. Earlier, a White House official claimed Moonshot distilled Anthropic's Fable to build Kimi K3.
