China renames Uyghur villages, to remove religious references: Report

China has reportedly changed names of hundreds of villages with religious, historical, or cultural meanings for Uyghur Muslims to names that resonate with Chinese Communist Party's ideology. Historical references about Uyghurs prior to establishment of People's Republic of China in 1949 have also been removed. China has been accused by West of undertaking genocide of Uyghurs in Xinjiang province.
