China's Anta Sports buys 29% stake in Puma for ₹16,300 crore

China's Anta Sports Products has agreed to buy a roughly 29% stake in Puma for €1.5 billion (over ₹16,300 crore) from the Pinault family. The deal makes Anta the largest shareholder in the German sportswear brand. Anta will pay €35 per share for 43 million Puma shares, representing a 62% premium to Monday's closing price of €21.63.
