China’s Maglev train reaches speed of 1,000 kmph in test run

China might soon be the home of the world’s fastest train. It recently completed a test run in the Shanxi province of the country. During the demonstration, it reached a speed of up to a whopping 1,000 kilometres per hour! This is because it employs a unique, cutting-edge technology called Magnetic Levitation or Maglev.
