China's UBTech unveils companion robots that recognise emotions

China's UBTech launched UWORLD U1 Series, the world's first mass-produced full-sized humanoid robot series for consumers. Equipped with emotional AI, they can recognise over 20 different emotions and are designed to hold conversations, recognise emotions, remember interactions over time and provide companionship. With biomimetic technology, they can replicate 90% of basic human motions.
