China shares 20 proposals to encourage people to have more babies

Political advisors to Chinese government have proposed 20 recommendations to encourage citizens to have more babies amid declining birth rates. The proposals range from subsidies for families raising their first child, rather than just the second and third, to improving access to fertility treatments. Earlier, several Chinese provinces offered 30 days of paid 'marriage leave' to boost birth rates.
