China should not harass Philippine vessels in South China Sea: US

The US has asked Chinese Coast Guard to stop harassing Philippine vessels in the South China Sea. "We call upon Beijing to desist from its provocative and unsafe conduct," the US State Department said in a statement. This comes after Philippines, last week, accused China of "aggressive tactics" and "dangerous manoeuvres" in the South China Sea.
