China strongly condemns US attack on Venezuela, calls it 'blatant use of force'

China condemned the US military strikes against Venezuela on Saturday, stating it's "deeply shocked and strongly condemns the US' blatant use of force against a sovereign state." China's Foreign Ministry called the attack a "hegemonic behaviour by the US, which seriously violates international law." Notably, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met Chinese envoy hours before being captured by US.
