China supplies over 30% of India's industrial goods: GTRI
China accounts for around 16% of India's total imports and 30% of India's industrial goods, GTRI said, adding that overdependence on a single supplier for critical industrial inputs is concerning. India's imports stood at $774.98 billion in 2025-26, of which China accounted for $131.63 billion. "Even as India tries to grow exports...its supply chains remain tied to China," GTRI said.
