China to double space station size to make ISS alternative: Report

China is planning to expand its space station from three to six modules in the coming years, offering astronauts an alternative platform to the NASA-led International Space Station (ISS), Reuters reported. China's self-built space station, known as Tiangong, will have an operational lifetime of 15 years and has been operational since 2022. It can currently host up to three astronauts.
