China to host 2nd robot half-marathon with 300 humanoid robots

China will host its second robot half-marathon on Sunday with over 300 humanoid robots competing against human runners in a 21 km race involving paved slopes in Beijing. Organisers said all the robots in the first edition were remote controlled but around 40% of the robots this year will navigate the race autonomously. Over 70 teams will compete this year.
