China to open world's 1st fully robot-operated hotel by 2027

China plans to open the world's first hotel operated entirely by robots by 2027. Robots are expected to handle reception, room service, housekeeping, food preparation, guest assistance, and other services. Managed by Pudu Robotics, the hotel is designed as a fully integrated robotic ecosystem and will be rolled out in phases, with public trials expected to begin in late 2026.
