China to reopen borders to foreign tourists for 1st time in 3 yrs

China said it would open its borders to foreign tourists from Wednesday for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in 2020. In addition to new visas being reviewed and approved, those issued before March 28, 2020, that are still within their validity dates will also be able to enter China, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
