China to send special envoy to Middle East nations for mediation amid war

China has announced that it'll send a special envoy to Middle East nations for mediation in the ongoing war in the region. "China strongly urges all parties to cease military operations, return to dialogue and negotiation as soon as possible, and prevent further escalation of tensions," China's Foreign ‌Minister Wang Yi said. He told this to his Saudi Arabian counterpart.
