China, Uganda deny reports of Entebbe airport takeover for $200 million loan default

Amid reports of China taking over Uganda's only international airport, the Entebbe International Airport, over alleged default on a $200 million loan, both countries have dismissed the claims. Denying the reports, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) said the government can't give away its national asset while the Chinese Embassy in Uganda also tweeted that such reports have no factual basis.
