China unveils 13-foot humanoid robot that lifts 500 kg

Chinese robotics company NeodraDynamics unveiled a 13-foot humanoid robot named Neo1 at the 2026 China International Industry Fair. The robot uses 39 hydraulic joints and electric drive and reportedly has a two-arm lifting capacity of 1,102 pounds (around 500 kg). It is designed for heavy industrial and hazardous works in mining, ports, nuclear facilities and disaster zones.
