China unveils AI-powered 'flying lifebuoy' to save drowning people

An AI-powered "flying lifebuoy" recently made its debut during a water rescue drill organised by China's Hangzhou police. A video showed an orange lifebuoy taking off from the shore, flying towards a person who had fallen into the water, and landing on the water's surface to help bring the person to safety. Drones were also used to drop inflatable lifebuoys.
