China unveils laser that can kill mosquitos, video shows disco-like effect in forest

China's Photon Matrix unveiled a new video of its "air defence" tool that uses a high-powered infrared laser to disable a mosquito's wings and kill it. The device was seen operating in an open farm, shooting its lasers to kill mosquitoes in a scene that made the nearby forested area look like a disco. It uses LiDAR to track mosquitoes.
