China using generative AI to divide our society: Taiwan

Taiwan has accused China of using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to create "division" among Taiwan's society. "The Chinese Communist Party has been using AI tools to assist in the generation and dissemination of controversial messages," the island's National Security Bureau said in a report. Most messages were seen on social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok, the report stated.
