China-based iPhone camera supplier to set up $300-million unit in India

Sunny Opotech, a China-based supplier of cameras for Apple's iPhones, will be setting up a $300-million unit in India to manufacture iPhone cameras. Sunny Opotech President Welly Liu said the project will be rolled out in phases till 2026 and its location hasn't been decided yet. The new facility will begin operations in 2024 and remain exclusive to Apple.
