China's claim over Galwan Valley exaggerated and untenable: India

The Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday responded to China claiming Ladakh's Galwan Valley, asserting that this was an "exaggerated and untenable" claim. "Both sides agreed that the overall situation should be handled in a responsible manner," it said. Making exaggerated and untenable claims are contrary to the understanding reached between senior commanders, the MEA added.
