China's richest billionaires lose over $52 billion in a day as stocks plunge

The combined net worth of China's 78 richest tycoons fell by over $52 billion in a day as Chinese stocks plunged on Monday. Bottled water company Nongfu Spring's Founder and the country's richest person Zhong Shanshan lost the most, with his fortune declining by $5 billion. Tencent's Pony Ma saw his net worth drop by $3.3 billion to $35.2 billion.
