China's XPENG conducts 1st public flight of its flying taxi X2 in Dubai

China-based EV maker XPENG conducted the first public flight of its electric flying car, the XPENG X2, at Skydive Dubai on October 10. The two-seater electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft has a complete carbon fiber structure to reduce weight and is lifted by eight propellers. It has a top speed of 80 miles per hour.
