Chinese actress chooses folk medicine over chemo, dies

According to reports, Chinese actress Xu Ting passed away after she chose traditional Chinese medicine over chemotherapy to treat her cancer. The 25-year-old had announced in July she had lymphoma, a type of cancer that best responds to chemotherapy. Ting had decided to treat her cancer with acupuncture and cupping due to the high cost and side effects of chemotherapy.
