Chinese AI may not be advanced enough for US-level risks: Huawei Chairman

Huawei rotating Chairman Eric Xu said Chinese AI may not be advanced enough to face some safety risks reported by US AI firms. Speaking at a conference in Shanghai, Xu said developers should balance innovation with risks while continuing to build more powerful models. He noted that US firms have greater computing power and may better understand their models' capabilities.
