Chinese authorities prohibit entry of NVIDIA AI chips: Report

Chinese customs authorities told customs agents that NVIDIA's H200 AI chips are not allowed to enter China, Reuters reported citing sources. "The wording from the officials is so severe that it is basically a ban for now," a source said. Officials held meetings with domestic technology companies where they were explicitly instructed not to purchase the chips unless necessary.
