Chinese billionaire Wu Yajun quits as chairperson from her firm amid real estate crisis

Wu Yajun, the 58-year-old billionaire co-founder of Beijing-based property developer Longfor Properties, has resigned as the chairperson of the company amid the real estate crisis in China. Meanwhile, in an exchange filing, the company said that she stepped down due to health and age reasons. Notably, Yajun topped the Hurun Richest Self-Made Women in the World 2022 list.
