Chinese hackers stole millions worth of US COVID fund: US Secret Service

The US Secret Service has said that Chinese hackers stole tens of millions of dollars worth of US COVID-19 relief benefits since 2020. The Secret Service confirmed a report by NBC News which said that the Chinese hacking team reportedly responsible is known as APT41 or Winnti. The US Justice Department indicted several members of APT41 in 2019 and 2020.
