Chinese leaders meet to formulate next five-year plan

China's Communist Party (CPC) on Monday began a four-day annual conclave of its top leaders to discuss the formulation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and a longer-term strategy named as "Vision 2035". Chinese President Xi Jinping, holding the post of CPC General Secretary, delivered a work report on Politburo's behalf at the start of the meeting.
