Chinese man buys coffin, fakes death to evade arrest, gets caught

A Chinese man allegedly bought a coffin and faked his own death to escape punishment in a drink-driving case. With help from his mother and grandmother, he staged an overdose and fled to Yunnan. Police uncovered the hoax using CCTV, bank and phone records. He was arrested, sentenced to five months in jail and fined 20,000 yuan.
