Chinese man generates fake train crash news using ChatGPT, held

Chinese police have detained a man who allegedly used ChatGPT to generate fake news of a train crash and disseminate it online. It's reported to be China's first arrest for misuse of the chatbot and "using artificial intelligence technology to concoct false information". The fake news reportedly claimed that nine people were killed in a train accident on April 25.
