Chinese neighbours fight over land for 200 years, court uses verse to broker peace

A land dispute between two neighbours in China has gone viral after a court found their disagreement dates back over 200 years. One family produced a 1781 land deed to support its claim. The court cited an ancient verse on compromise, prompting both families to accept a renovation plan under which each would move their wall back by three feet.
